Professional decorative acrylics, fabric paint, etc. They are manufactured in our company under strict quality standards. We have an exclusive sector of paints for its manufacture.
The virola is the nexus between the tuft that paints and the handle that is directed by an artist, so it is an important element. There are different qualities of ferrules such as aluminum, sheet metal or brass, with or without seam.
Those of maximum quality are those of brass (bronze) and without seam or intakes. PLANTEC uses in all its lines, brushes with integral bronze ferrules with galvanized treatment, which guarantees the best quality. In addition, it is necessary to observe the union with the handle, which must be double crimped and crimped to avoid inconveniences during its use.
The seamless aluminum ferrule has the disadvantage that it does not resist the constant movement of the brush, and over time it tends to become loose and detach from the handle.
The metal ferrule generally has a seam, which does not allow to correctly assemble the shape of the brush, whether round or flat. On the other hand the brushes mostly come in contact with the water, the sheet oxidizes and over time produces rust drips that ruin the works.
PLANTEC recommends the use of brushes with integral bronze (brass) ferrules.
Good ferrules should be attached to the handle of the brush with a double setting; It is a double imprisonment of the ferrule on the wooden end stationed. In addition, it must be connected with a device called a rodonadora, which imprisons with small teeth in a completely even and equidistant way the ferrule on the handle. This guarantees a long life and a perfect alignment between the ferrule and the handle.
There are economic brushes that join the ferrule with a single setting. In many cases they do not use the roller, but a disk that imprisons unevenly that can break the handle or leave it loose, without being visible to the naked eye. It also does not achieve the desired alignment of the brush.
The parallel rule is a basic tool of the technical draftsman, it is a support element for others useful as squares, templates and letrographs.
As such, not only should it present a good design such as the PLANTEC parallel, but it should be an element of easy maintenance and in the face of an unlikely inconvenience, simple to fix.
The thread should simply lodge in the pulleys, but in turn should easily pass through the spine of the parallel. PLANTEC found the simple solution with the upper slot, which allows to quickly place the scroll cord.
Originally the parallelograph or parallel rule had two pulleys at both ends. By means of the yarn assembly system that guarantees the horizontality of the rule, the cord must lodge by one of them at the end of the yarn run and pass through the second pulley, at the end of the thread placement, this at each end.
For reasons of design and space, in the PLANTEC parallels the system was simplified, placing a single pulley with double groove at each end. This alternative does not change the smooth sliding at all.
There are parallels that cause the cord to rub on a fixed shaft or pulley. This causes a rapid wear of the thread and the displacement of the rule seems to have a brake on.
